Environment: Risk analysis

Over the past few years, our team has specialized in modeling hydrogen leaks into the atmosphere to determine the volume of the flammable cloud and the mass of hydrogen contained in the cloud, and thus define the ATEX zoning.

Through simulations coupling hydrogen combustion with the thermal radiation emitted by the flame, we are able to define effect distances for regulatory thermal threshold levels (as set out in the circular of 10/05/2010 dedicated to Hazard Studies (EDD)) in order to ensure the safety of your personnel and your facilities.

For outdoor modeling, we take into account atmospheric stability, wind speed, ground roughness, and solar radiation.
